It started with a blog.
6Degrees began as an offshoot of a weekly investment blog founded by Keon Etminan. What started as a handful of local interviews grew into conversations with people once thought out of reach — each guest generously connecting us to the next.
Our mission
Curiosity shouldn't have an age limit.
6Degrees exists to prove that high school students can have real, substantive conversations with the people shaping their fields — not just shadow them. Every episode is researched, written, and recorded by students, for anyone curious about the world beyond the classroom.
Beyond the podcast, our mentorship program pairs students with professors for a full year of independent research — turning a 45-minute conversation into a lasting relationship.
